The language of his design is extemporaneous, minimal, characterized by a strong materic expression.
His concept of “experience design” is what keeps the human being at the center of the project.
For R1 model it was important to find materials and solutions expressing the values of other cultures, perhaps different from each other, in order to offer a modular system – enriched by a wide selection of finishes, colours and components – able to give design solutions and satisfy all expectations and needs, in terms of customization. The kitchen is the center of the house, an open and social space that shows a different image depending on the time of the day.
In 1990 he began his professional career as an architect working in the fields of industrial design such as furniture and lighting. As a professional, he worked in the field of restoration and conservation of the historic monuments, especially on buildings of the early 900.
In 2002 he won the Red Dot Design Award with Nicole kitchen, on display at the Zollverein design museum in Essen, which was also included in the “Design Yearbook”.
From 2012 he has been working on the new collection of Rastelli products as Product Manager. It’s an exciting professional experience that leads him to collaborate with artists that are protagonists on the international scene.
He designed R1 collection for Rastelli.
